“The Lost Sock” began life at an event called “Culturama” in November 2004, when local online TV operator Chris Gosling suggested to Dave Feakes of the Felixstowe Scribblers writers group - the organisers - that a short online serial would be fun to write and make.

A few five-minute episodes? “That might be interesting,” said Dave, “we’ll see.”

Around 20 months later, the final film was shown on the big screen at The Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe, to an audience of around 400 people. Then and in subsequent months until the end of 2006, over 100 DVDs have been sold.

The Lost Sock has its own dedicated website within Felixstowe Films, with all of the eleven episodes online.
